Naomi Macey calls her art illuminated sculpture with good reason.  She creates lamps, illuminated with electric light or candle, that can be used to brighten a garden, a gazebo, a sundeck, or provide ambient,  interior lighting.

To make her lamps, Naomi weaves rice paper through wire mesh.  What makes making a lamp art is that the paper is decorated using her own designs, which can include photos, watercolour, acrylic, found objects, beads or anything else that looks just right for the lamp being made.
